About This Project:

Hudson Bay Building in Victoria, BC. was built between 1914 and 1921. In February 2008, Vintage Woodworks began the restoration of 237 windows at the Victoria Hudson Bay Building.  The purpose of the project was to convert this massive historic retail store to condominiums.   Within this project Vintage Woodworks restored all of the jambs and sash.  This included bringing the windows back to their original glory adding new thermal glazing and weather stripping, and manufacturing new sash, sills, stools and components where rot was found.  The project completed in January of 2009 and today the building continues to look as noble as the day it was done.
